HITC Sport understands that Blackpool have reached an agreement with Morecambe regarding a deal for Jack Redshaw.
HITC Sport understands from sources close to the potential deal that Blackpool have agreed a fee with Morecambe for Jack Redshaw.
The 24-year-old striker has been with his current League Two employers since 2012 and has been a regular source of goals throughout that time.
Redshaw is a diminutive but hard-working forward who has shown himself to be a more than capable performer on a Football League stage.
He could now be taking those talents to Bloomfield Road.
Blackpool are undertaking another rebuilding process following their relegation out of the Championship in 2014/15.
Neil McDonald is the man charged with getting the Seasiders back on track, as they prepare for life in League One, and he believes Redshaw would be a useful addition to his ranks.
Blackpool will, however, have to convince the highly-rated frontman that they are the right club for him – with Morecambe having agreed a deal with Peterborough United last summer, as per the BBC, only to see the player reject the move.
