Leeds United’s ticket jibe does not go down well.

Leeds United’s official Twitter account is showing a bit more personality than it used to.
They might have pushed it a bit too far with an abrasive message which upset Championship competitors Blackburn Rovers.
Leeds were letting their fans know that their ticket allocation for their away tie with Blackburn Rovers on October 20 has been increased.
More than 7,000 Leeds fans will get tickets for the game at Ewood Park, one of the most generous allocations they will be granted all season.

Leeds took this as an opportunity to have some fun.
Blackburn were not amused, and hit back at the suggestion they could not fill their own ground.
Neither club come off particularly well with this, yet there is a practical element to Leeds’ message.
Leeds social media team are paid to increase engagement as well as communicate, and this will have garnered more attention than simply a standard message. Job done.
