Newcastle United youngster Adam Armstrong has impressed during a loan spell with Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn Rovers fans are urging Adam Armstrong to leave Newcastle United and stay with them.
Armstrong joined Blackburn on loan in January, and he impressed hugely during his spell at Ewood Park.
The Newcastle loanee scored prolifically, and helped improve Tony Mowbray’s side’s attack.

Blackburn’s promotion to the Championship was confirmed last night, after their victory over Doncaster Rovers.
And Armstrong’s celebratory Twitter message was greeted with plenty of Blackburn fans urging him to stay.
Whether Newcastle would be open to selling Armstrong next term remains to be seen.
The forward is regarded as one of their better prospects, but he is yet to really show his top form above League One level.
If Blackburn were to buy Armstrong from Newcastle they would likely have to pay a sizeable fee, but Rafael Benitez may be more open to loaning the youngster out again.
