Newcastle striker is hitting form for Blackburn.

Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong produced his best performance of the season to earn loan side Blackburn a 2-1 win over Portsmouth.
Armstrong scored both goals, with the second a dramatic 87th minute winner.
The young striker netted at the weekend in a draw against Oldham and is coming into form nicely after a disappointing start to the season.
Armstrong commented on Twitter after the game, praising a ‘massive’ victory.
Armstrong struggled on loan at Bolton Wanderers in the Championship in the first half of the campaign but his spell with Blackburn looks to be more fruitful.
He has now scored three goals in seven League One matches, both coming in his last two games.
His contribution has been vital for Rovers, earning four points from these goals; taking advantage of Marcus Antonsson’s injury.
Newcastle fans still have high hopes for the 21-year-old and his recent progress is highly encouraging.
