The Liverpool youngster could return to the Championship with Blackburn Rovers, Hull City or others after a disappointing spell at Sheffield United.

At least three of Sheffield United’s Championship rivals – Blackburn Rovers, Hull City and Brentford – have enquired about signing Ben Woodburn from Liverpool, according to Goal.
The website claims Liverpool have brought a premature end to Woodburn’s Sheffield United loan spell, having seen him play just 244 minutes of first-team football this season.
The attacking midfielder’s disappointing Bramall Lane experience does not appear to have deterred Blackburn, Hull and Brentford. However, the trio – and others – may have to wait until later in the window to learn Woodburn’s fate, with Goal adding that the Reds are ready to take their time deciding the Welshman’s next step.
Blackburn recently saw another attacking midfielder, Kasey Palmer, recalled by Chelsea and sent to Bristol City instead, while Hull could lose the impressive Jarrod Bowen in Woodburn’s position, amid reports of Premier League interest.

Sheffield United have effectively replaced the 19-year-old Liverpool player with the Everton youngster, Kieran Dowell.
Blackburn, Hull, Brentford or somewhere else? What’s the best next step for Woodburn?
