Aston Villa defender Bjorn Engels has impressed since joining Dean Smith’s side.

Engels moved to Villa in the summer, and his girlfriend has been a regular at Villa Park since.
And Engels’ partner certainly has been impressed by the noise levels created by the Villa faithful every week.
“My girlfriend has come to a lot of Aston Villa games since I joined and she has been impressed – especially with the fans,” Engels said.
“She has told me many times how good the fans are here at this club. She really looks forward to the home games. She loves the atmosphere. She goes to some of the away games, too.”
Engels has impressed since moving to Villa, and has immediately forced his way into Dean Smith’s line up.
The Belgian centre-back has formed an excellent partnership with Tyrone Mings in the heart of Villa’s defence, although they are set to be tested at the weekend.

Villa are due to take on Liverpool tomorrow, when Mings and Engels will have to be at their very best if they are to pick up a positive result.
Smith’s side are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table, having picked up 11 points from their first 10 games this season.
