According to FC Inter News, Leeds United have joined the race to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic this summer.
It’s claimed that Perisic wants to stay with Bayern Munich after a season on loan there, but they won’t pay more than €10million (£9million).
Inter want closer to €15million (£13.5million), but there are two teams in the background looking to sign Perisic.
The report states that Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur have both ‘knocked on Perisic’s door’, but he prefers Bayern.
The Tottenham links aren’t a huge surprise; Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of Perisic and wanted him at Manchester United, so rekindling his interest makes sense.
Leeds is a different matter though, as even though the Whites are a huge, ambitious club, a move for Perisic seems unlikely.

The Croatian is now 31, and Leeds surely won’t want to sink money into signing players in their 30’s, even if they’re of Perisic’s quality.
Perisic scored in the 8-2 demolition of Barcelona on Friday, taking his tally for the season to eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions, again showing his ability.
A big name signing he would certainly be, but Perisic to Leeds just doesn’t add up for us right now.
