Everton defender Yerry Mina has been linked with a bizarre exit.

According to a bizarre report from Don Balon in Spain, Everton defender Yerry Mina is interested in an early return to Spain.
Mina joined Barcelona from Palmeiras in January of last year, but struggled to make the grade at the Camp Nou in the second half of last season.
The giant centre back then scored three goals in three games for Colombia at the World Cup over the summer, arguably showing that he was better going forward than defensively.
Everton splashed the cash to sign Mina on deadline day in August, bringing an end to a lengthy transfer saga – but he arrived injured from the World Cup.
It took until November for Mina to make his first Everton appearance, and was showing promise before a dismal showing at Manchester City last month, and has only started one league game since.
Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma have emerged as Marco Silva’s first-choice pairing, and Don Balon claim Mina may be eyeing a return to Spain having struggled to settle in England.

It’s claimed that Real Betis and Valencia are both keen on Mina, but this spurious report comes as a major surprise just months after Mina arrived at Goodison Park.
Many players take a while to adjust to life in the Premier League, and Mina looks like being the next player of that ilk, merely experiencing peaks and troughs on Merseyside.
Having already made two moves in the last year, making another one would be a curious decision, and he would be mad to consider leaving Everton already after just eight Premier League appearances, so Toffees fans shouldn’t worry too much about his bizarre just yet.
