Celtic boss Neil Lennon has seen pressure ease on him in recent weeks, but his side did lose 1-0 at Rangers on Saturday.
The Bhoys lost to a Callum McGregor goal at Ibrox, meaning Rangers are now 19 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, closing in on the title.
Lennon looks likely to miss out on 10 in a row, but his job doesn’t seem to be under any immediate danger – which makes a new report in Romania seem very bizarre.
Playsport report that Gheorghe Hagi has been in Scotland for several weeks now, mostly to see his son Ianis, who plays for Rangers.
However, they also state that Hagi is in talks to join Celtic as Lennon’s replacement, having admitted that he is considering a return to coaching.
Hagi has offered a short statement denying the negotiations, so this one seems to be very unlikely yet too bizarre to ignore.

The 55-year-old spent six years as Viitorul Costanta boss, winning 48% of his 242 games, whilst he has also had spells in charge of Romania, Bursaspor, Galatasaray, Politehnica Timisoara and Steaua Bucharest.
Seeing him arrive at Celtic would be strange enough, but add in that he’s the father of a Rangers player, and this would be quite the twist; with Hagi denying the move though, surely he won’t be heading to Parkhead any time soon.
