Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Sky Sports for their relentless speculation regarding Harry Kane’s future at Spurs.
A supporter highlighted the fact that Sky Sports had posted four stories discussing the England international’s future, all within eight days.
A number of fans began to respond to that tweet, clearly feeling the same level of frustration at what Sky Sports keeping saying about their talisman.
While it must be annoying to see your best player constantly linked with a move away, this is something the Tottenham fans will have to come to terms with, unfortunately.
Kane is one of the best players in Europe – as a result, mentioning his name in a headline will get more attention than it would for most footballers.

He is England’s captain, and arguably the Premier League’s golden boy.
Presumably, Sky Sports also run such heavy coverage on Kane because he’s been linked with Manchester United and Manchester City, two of England’s biggest clubs.
That is what the Daily Mail are reporting, at least.

By publishing news about him, they know that Tottenham fans will be interested, as will supporters of the two Manchester outfits.
If you house Europe’s best players, you must get used to their prominence in the media, we’re afraid.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about it…
