Plenty of Arsenal fans believe that they should accept a £5 million loan offer from West Ham United for Rob Holding.
The Sun claim that West Ham about to make a bid to sign Holding from Arsenal, and are prepared to pay a sizeable sum just to keep him for the season.
Holding actually impressed in Arsenal’s first game of the campaign, as they picked up a 3-0 win over Fulham.
However, Arsenal supporters believe that the offer is simply too good to be true, and they have encouraged them to accept the bid.
If Arsenal were to allow Holding to join West Ham they would still have a solid set of options at the back.
Pablo Mari and David Luiz should be back from injury soon, while William Saliba and Gabriel have made positive initial impressions.
Mikel Arteta has stressed that he wants to keep Holding around, but whether West Ham’s bid could persuade him remains to be seen.
Arsenal need to raise funds to make room for the additions that Arteta has planned, and Holding’s sale could help contribute towards their budget.
