Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Ralph Hasenhuttl accused Marcelo Bielsa’s side of using tactical fouls in their 3-0 win on Tuesday.

The Southampton boss felt that the Yorkshire-based outfit were deliberately upending his players to break the game up and halt their attacks.

Just by watching the game, we feel that the Austrian might be exaggerating slightly, as we didn’t see much mischievous fouling going on.

In fact, if you were to analyse the statistics, WhoScored shows that Southampton actually committed two more fouls than Leeds with 13 offences.

Understandably, the Leeds fans on Twitter have hit back at Hasenhuttl for these comments, as they feel their side did nothing wrong at Elland Road.

We have to agree – the former RB Leipzig manager’s words do make him sound rather bitter, on a night where his side were totally outclassed.

Furthermore, he’s been bold to comment on rule bending, as it was one of his own players in Nathan Tella who was caught trying to con Andre Marriner with a dive.

Thankfully due to VAR, Leeds were not punished after the Saints forward stuck his leg out to ensure he made contact with Diego Llorente inside the box.

Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have said about Hasenhuttl’s comments…
