The Mirror claim that the Spurs boss gave his players the silent treatment on their way back to north London.
That hasn’t appeared to go down too well with the Tottenham fans below, and we’re on their side – it was a foolish approach.
After such a seismic defeat, with big repercussions, the manager simply has to address the matter and stamp some authority on a shaken group.
However, Mourinho allowed all sorts of thoughts to fester inside his squad’s minds following their embarrassing exit from the Europa League.
This news comes after the Independent claimed that Tottenham’s players feel their confidence has been smashed to pieces by Mourinho’s criticism.
If that is the case, and he then said nothing to them after the 3-0 defeat, we feel it’s safe to assume he’s lost the dressing room somewhat.
If Daniel Levy didn’t see this strange man management coming, he didn’t do his research.
The ex-Chelsea boss publicly hammered Luke Shaw on numerous occasions at Manchester United.
He also accused Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Shaw of lacking maturity in another swipe at his own players, as the Guardian covered.
