The Blues academy ace is highly rated and signed his first professional contract at St Andrew’s Stadium earlier this year.
Birmingham City goalkeeper Zach Jeacock has taken to Twitter to celebrate his international debut as he helped England Under-19s record a 3-1 win over their Greece counterparts (official FA website).
The highly-rated 18-year-old signed his first professional contract at St Andrew’s in May (official Blues website) following a breakthrough season in which he made 10 appearances for the Under-23s.
Jeacock has since been impressing on loan at Gloucester City as a regular in between the sticks for the Tigers in their National League North campaign.
As such he was rewarded by being named in Paul Simpson’s 23-strong squad for the Euro qualifying games against Greece on Thursday, September 5 at St George’s Park and away to Germany on Monday, September 9.
Although the Greeks opened the scoring, goals from Daniel Adshead, Ryan Edmondson and a penalty from captain Thomas Doyle helped the Young Lions record a solid victory ahead of their trip to Haige.
