Birmingham City have taken non-league sensation Jevani Brown on trial, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Former Peterborough youngster Brown has been attracting the attention of a number of clubs higher up the football ladder after earning rave reviews at Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side St Neots Town.
Brown has scored 11 goals in 11 games since his arrival from Stamford in January and scouts have been flocking to cast an eye over the 22-year-old at close quarters.
The 22-year-old has enhanced his growing reputation and brought himself to the attention of Football League clubs with two hat-tricks in successive games last month.

Birmingham are now looking to steal a march on their rivals by taking Brown on trial at St Andrew’s.
Brown is set to spend this week training with the Championship club so that Gianfranco Zola and his coaching team can have a look at him before deciding whether or not to pursue their interest in the player.
Brown started his career at Peterborough United and he was highly-rated at London Road, but he was released by the club in November 2013 due to an off-the-field incident.
The Jamaican has had stints at Barton Rovers, Arlesey Town and Wingate & Finchley, Kettering Town and AFC Stamford before making the switch to St Neots Town.
