Bristol City are reportedly set to sell defender Aden Flint, with Birmingham City and Leeds United strongly linked.
According to a report from the Bristol Post, Bristol City defender Aden Flint is expected to join a Championship club week amid strong interest from both Birmingham City and Leeds United.
The Robins swooped to land a new centre back on Friday, as Aston Villa centre back Nathan Baker – who spent the 2015-16 season on loan at Ashton Gate – returned on a permanent deal.

That left Lee Johnson with a host of options at centre back, with Bailey Wright, Aden Flint, Hordur Magnusson and Jens Hegeler all at his disposal alongside new signing Baker – but one of those is now expected to leave.
The Bristol Post report that giant centre back Flint is expected to leave the club in a matter of days, with negotiations ‘well under way’ with a rival Championship club ahead of an anticipated agreement.
It’s stated that the deal is expected to be completed by the middle of this week, though it’s unclear just where the 28-year-old will be heading to ahead of the new Championship season.
The Birmingham Mail note that Birmingham City and Leeds United are both in the running for Flint, with Blues boss Harry Redknapp hopeful of adding him to fellow defender Marc Roberts, who joined from Barnsley this summer.

Yet, with Leeds looking to replace Kyle Bartley in the heart of their defence, they could still move to sign Flint, and it remains to be seen just who has won the race for his signature this week.
Flint, who stands at 6ft 5in tall, emerged in non-league football with Alfreton Town before starring with Swindon Town, and he has racked up 200 appearances for Bristol City since his 2013 move to Ashton Gate, possessing real experience as well as physical presence for whoever wins the battle for his signature.
