Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wants to bring Che Adams to the Premier League from Birmingham City but would he be perfect for Liverpool?

Birmingham City legend Michael Johnson has suggested that Tottenham or Liverpool would be the perfect destination for Che Adams if the striker is to leave St Andrew’s this summer, speaking to The Express.
Adams is enjoying the best season of his career in the Midlands, taking his tally to 21 Championship goals for the season with two clinically taken finishes in Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with Blackburn Rovers.
In fact, he has become the first player since a certain Trevor Francis in 1978 to score 20 league goals in one of the top two divisions.
As a result plenty of Premier League teams have been linked with TEAMtalk claiming that Tottenham have sent scouts to watch him.
And Johnson believes that a move to North London would be perfect for Adams while Liverpool would also suit a player who has been transformed from a winger into a ruthless centre-forward by Garry Monk at Birmingham.

“Che Adams is a real rough diamond for Birmingham,” Johnson told Express Sport.
“I think that there are a few different types of striker in the Premier League and I don’t think he would fit in at a team that isn’t about physically and likes to play their way through to goal slowly.
“I could see Adams at Tottenham, with the way they play. I think he would also fit in perfectly at a team like Liverpool.”
TEAMtalk added that Birmingham are willing to sell their prized asset this summer if they receive an offer of £20 million. And he’d add some much needed depth in attack if a move to Tottenham or Liverpool is really on the cards.
