Championship outfit Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Ryan Shotton from Birmingham City on Wednesday.
The club have confirmed the move on their official website, and on their official twitter feed as well.
It has been a busy summer for Boro, who have gone through a massive rebuilding project under new manager Garry Monk.
Shotton becomes Monk’s ninth signing of the summer, and he is to take part in his first training session with his new teammates on Thursday.

The 28-year-old had been consistently linked with a move to Boro, and they had a bid accepted for the defender earlier this month.
The deal was stuck because Birmingham wanted to sign a replacement first before allowing him to complete his move to the Teeside club.

He completed a medical on Wednesday morning, and has signed a three-year deal at Boro.
Shotton brings a wealth of experience to Boro’s backline, and will be a superb addition to the squad.
