Clayton Donaldson celebrated his move from Birmingham City with two goals on his Sheffield United debut.

Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to express their disbelief as Clayton Donaldson scored a brace on his debut for Sheffield United in their 2-1 victory over Sunderland.
Donaldson spent three years with the Blues, scoring 33 times in 113 Championship appearances for the St Andrew’s outfit, finishing as their top goalscorer in two of his three seasons with the club.

However, despite making four appearances for Birmingham at the start of this season, the 33-year-old was sold to the Blades on deadline day – and he enjoyed the dream debut for Chris Wilder’s side.
Donaldson scored twice to inspire United to a 2-1 win away at Sunderland – and the brace has certainly not gone unnoticed by the fans that he has left behind.

Many fans have outlined their disbelief at seeing their former forward look so prolific – both goals were good finishes from the Jamaica international – after a solid but unspectacular spell at St Andrew’s.
Meanwhile, some have criticised the decision to sell him, with Birmingham currently situated one place above the relegation zone in the second tier after they were beaten 1-0 by Norwich City at Carrow Road on the same day.
Harry Redknapp’s men are the joint lowest scorers in the division. So while Donaldson was never the most prolific during his time with the Blues, his old and new clubs’ respective fortunes have left some Blues fans frustrated.
Here is the best of the reaction…
