Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has worked with Ravel Morrison before.

Birmingham City fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the announcement that Ravel Morrison is training with the club.

As announced on Birmingham’s official website, the former Manchester United and West Ham United man is training with the Blues’ first team.

It has been stated that Lazio have given the 24-year-old midfielder permission to train with the Championship club.

Morrison has not played for the Italian club since April 2016, and it appears that he does not feature in the Serie A outfit’s plans for the 2017-18 campaign.

The former England Under-21 international spent the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

The midfielder did not have a great time at Loftus Road, though; he was able to start just one Championship match and made substitute appearances in four other games.

Morrison worked with Birmingham manager Redknapp at QPR in 2014 when he was on loan from West Ham United. The midfielder spent the 2012-13 season on loan at St. Andrew’s from the Hammers.

Birmingham fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the announcement that Morrison is training with the club.
