Aston Villa have endured a difficult start to the season, but Birmingham City’s Harry Redknapp believes things will turn around.
Villa have failed to win any of their first three matches of the Championship campaign, sparking concerns about their form.
Bruce is now under serious pressure, but he has received backing from an unlikely source in Redknapp.

The Birmingham boss is convinced that Villa will start firing soon, and has backed Bruce to turn things around if he is given time.
“They’ve had a bad start and it’s been difficult for them, but they have strength in depth there,” Redknapp said.
“You get the feeling that they’ll turn it around. I’m sure Steve will turn it around there. It’s early days, there’s 43 games still to play.”
Whether Bruce will have time to put things right at Villa, depends on how quickly he can find the winning formula.
Villa simply cannot afford to get left too far behind, after going into the season as promotion favourites.
The claret and blues are next action at the weekend, when they take on Norwich City in a vitally important contest.
Birmingham, meanwhile, will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to three matches when they take on Burton Albion later this evening.
