The Blues ace scored a brace at Elland Road in September and grabbed the winner at St Andrew’s against the Whites in the Championship.

Birmingham City overcame a torrid run of form to claim a superb 1-0 win over Championship high flyers Leeds United in Saturday’s league game at St Andrew’s, doing the double over the Elland Road side in the process.
Garry Monk’s charges had lost their previous five games, adding to the negative atmosphere brought about by the recent points deduction, while the Whites were in the division’s top two and are always capable of playing fantastic football.
As a further reminder that football is not played on paper, however, the West Midlanders took the lead just before the half hour mark when Che Adams scored from outside the area for his third goal in two games against Leeds, not to mention his 22nd of the campaign.
Birmingham did find themselves under the cosh on numerous occasions, especially in the second half, but they held out for a superb victory over Marcelo Bielsa’s side which knocked them out of the top two.
The Blues remain five points clear of the bottom three with six games to go this season, as 22nd-placed Rotherham United picked up a shock 2-1 over Nottingham Forest at the New York Stadium.
Following the result at St Andrew’s, some Birmingham fans took to Twitter to make their feelings known, and one particular individual stood out amongst the tweets:
Adams scored a brace when Birmingham travelled to Leeds back in September, picking up a 2-1 win in the process.
