Birmingham attacker Diego Fabbrini has reportedly been offered to Rangers.
According to The Mirror, Birmingham City have offered Italian playmaker Diego Fabbrini to Rangers – and both sets of fans have taken to Twitter to react to the rumours.
Fabbrini, 26, only joined Birmingham on a three-and-a-half year contract in January of this year, as Gary Rowett swooped to land him after scoring six goals in 26 games for Middlesbrough.

The Italian had already featured for Birmingham during a previous loan spell at St. Andrews, but headed back to the Midlands on a full-time basis in the hope of settling down with the Blues.
However, Fabbrini has started just once in the Championship this season, playing just 158 minutes for the club as he’s become something of a misfit under Rowett this term.

With the January transfer window approaching, The Mirror reported on Thursday evening that Birmingham have in fact offered Fabbrini to a number of clubs, including Rangers.
The Gers have suffered a number of blows in midfield this season, as Joey Barton has left the club, Niko Kranjcar is out for the season with a major knee injury, whilst fellow summer signings Matt Crooks and Jordan Rossiter have endured injury problems throughout the season.
Now, Mark Warburton may be looking for a more advanced playmaker to aid his lukewarm Rangers side, and Fabbrini could fit the bill.

Since the rumours emerged, both sets of fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Fabbrini, with Birmingham supporters split. Some feel that Fabbrini is too much of a luxury player and can go as long as Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral returns to the club on loan, but others think he should be given more playing time under Rowett as he brings a spark that players like David Davis don’t provide.
Meanwhile, Rangers fans suggested that Fabbrini could be a good signing alongside free agent Diego Poyet, though one supporter wasn’t quite so keen on the former Udinese man arriving at Ibrox.
