Birmingham manager Harry Redknapp tells Derby that Che Adams is ‘not for sale’ after £3m bid was rejected.
Harry Redknapp has issued a hands-off warning for Birmingham City forward Che Adams after Gary Rowett admitted Derby County had made an offer for the youngster.
The Birmingham Mail reports that the Rams had a £3m bid for Adams rejected, with Redknapp saying the 21-year-old is worth far more.

“How much? £3m? Good luck,” the 70-year-old told the Birmingham Mail after being asked about the offer.
“I don’t know what he’s worth but he’s certainly worth a lot more than £3m – he’s not for sale and we don’t want to sell him.”
Redknapp was speaking after watching Adams score a hat-trick for the Blues during a 5-1 victory over Crawley Town in the Carabao Cup.
It is therefore perhaps unsurprising that Derby have shown interest in the attacker, with Rowett having originally signed him from Sheffield United in 2016 back when he was Birmingham manager.
And now the 43-year-old wants to reunite with Adams once more at Pride Park, but it seems he will need to increase the bid if that is to happen.
“He’s a player we know,” Rowett told the Derby Telegraph. “I signed him [for Birmingham] because I felt as though he was an immensely talented boy at 21.
“It is what it is. We did put an offer in and Birmingham have said they won’t sell him at the moment, so that’s their prerogative, which is fine.”
Adams has played 44 times since his move from the Blades a little over 12 months ago, scoring ten goals and providing six assists.
