Leeds United swooped to sign Jamal Blackman on Monday.

Leeds United tied up their second senior signing of the summer on Monday afternoon, as Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman made a loan move to Elland Road.
The Whites had already snapped up Lewis Baker on loan from Chelsea, and returned to the Blues for another loan deal by signing Blackman for the season.
With Felix Wiedwald out of his depth and flogged to Eintracht Frankfurt, and Andrew Lonergan released, it was clear that Leeds had to bring in a goalkeeper to challenge Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Whilst Angus Gunn and David Stockdale were linked, Leeds secured Blackman on Monday, signing the 24-year-old until next summer as a stop-gap whilst Peacock-Farrell develops.
Blackman, 24, has come up through the ranks with Chelsea but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blues, and has spent time out on loan with Middlesbrough, Ostersunds, Wycombe Wanderers and Sheffield United.
The 6ft 6in impressed with Sheffield United last season having become first-choice goalkeeper under Chris Wilder, and he is now heading back to Yorkshire with Leeds.

Blackman took to Twitter to celebrate his move on Monday, and received a good luck message from his former Sheffield United teammate and ex-Leeds United striker Billy Sharp, who knows all about the pressure of playing for the Whites.
Norwich City winger Yanic Wildschut – who played with Blackman at Middlesbrough – also wished Blackman success at Leeds, and Whites fans will be hoping to see him enjoy a strong season at Elland Road.
