Billy Gilmour is not the only youngster departing Glasgow Rangers.
Billy Gilmour isn’t the only one leaving Rangers
Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour signed terms with Chelsea this week, clinching a £500,000 move away from Ibrox, The Mail reported.
Gilmour is just 15 and has not played a first team game for the Gers, but not every youngster leaves in such glamorous circumstances.
While Rangers were desperate to keep the young talent, others were not so fortunate.
A quartet of young talents appear set to be released by the club from the academy.

Gilmour sent a message of good luck to the players, Josh Jeffries, Jordan Gibson, Max Ashmore and Sam Jamieson.
While Gilmour has the world at his feet and an exciting big move to look forward to, these four young players will be scrambling to find second chances this summer and win places at new teams to try and progress their careers.
It is a stark reminder of the difference between the have’s and have not’s in football and perhaps suggests why Gilmour has to seize his chance.
He now has a big job on his hands at Chelsea in the coming years to make their team and one day avoid being released in similar circumstances by the Blues. If he fulfils his potential, then there is no danger of that.
