Rangers produced one of their best attacking performances in the second half as they beat St Johnstone 4-0 on Sunday.

Billy Dodds praised the performance of Barona Barisic and Steven Davis after they helped Rangers to a 4-0 win over St Johnstone on Sunday.
The BBC Sport pundit lauded Davis’ ‘incredible’ goaline clearance late on in the game, with the Gers going on and scoring two goals inside the space of 90 seconds straight after that clearance.
After a lacklustre first-half display, Steven Gerrard’s side turned on the heat after the break, with Alfredo Morelos and Connor Goldson netting just before the hour mark. Then following that goalline clearance from Davis, substitute Jermain Defoe netted a quick-fire double.
Speaking to Sportsround on BBC Radio Scotland (22/09/2019), Dodds praises Barasic’s offensive and defensive display, as he was left in awe at Davis’ goaline clearance.
“He’s been excellent, Barisic, hasn’t he?” Dodds told Sporsround. “Even his drive to get forward and whip in crosses. He looks strong defensively. He drives forward. He’s put in better crosses [against St Johnstone]. Offensively, he really looks the player we saw last season.
On Davis clearance: “I tell you one thing, it’s two of the best goalline clearances you will ever see. How he got them out, I don’t know. It was incredible.”

Rangers were at their ruthless best towards the end of the game, as they proved their worth from a defensive standpoint and then well and truly punished their opponents.
It ends a very good week for Gerrard and his players because last Thursday they picked up a 1-0 win over Feyenoord in the Europa League, and now they have backed that up with three points in the league.
Their attention will now turn to another cup competition as they take on Livingston in the Scottish League Cup next Wednesday night.
