Everton star Wayne Rooney has been linked with DC United in the summer transfer window.

It has also been reported that Everton chairman Bill Kenwright wants the former Manchester United star to carry on playing for the Toffees.

Earlier this week, DC United manager Ben Olsen was quoted as saying by ESPN that the club are interested in signing the 32-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder.

Wayne Rooney to stay at Everton?
With Sam Allardyce now gone, Rooney should probably wait and see who the next manager of Everton is before making a decision on his future.
The 32-year-old, who returned to the Toffees in the summer of 2017 after leaving United, did not exactly have a bad season in 2017-18, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in 27 Premier League starts.
The former England international can still do a good job in the Premier League, and it would be great for Everton if Rooney decides to stay at Goodison Park.
