Everton are expected to have over £100 million to spend in the upcoming transfer window.
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has told the Daily Star that he is prepared to support new boss Ronald Koeman, after seeing his list of transfer targets.
Koeman has already presented a list of players he would like to bring to Everton to the club’s board.
And Kenwright appears to feel that Koeman’s wishlist is realistic, as he looks to strengthen Everton’s squad.
The chairman said: “The next step is looking at the squad. He has a list of potential targets – all managers have a list.
“I am not as direct as the reporter who just asked ‘do you want to fiddle with the squad?’ I just tell him we will support your vision.
“Everton is a club that supports its managers. This is the 16th in the club’s lifetime.
“We’ve had three in 20 years. We support managers. He knows that. We will try and give him what he wants.”
Koeman is expected to be handed a bigger budget than any Everton manager in history.
The Dutch boss could have over £100 million to spend in his first transfer window at Goodison Park.
Everton have already been linked to a whole host of players, in a range of different positions. The likes of Vincent Janssen, Morgan Schneiderlin and Kevin Strootman are amongst the players to have been tipped to be of interested to the Merseyside club.
Everton finished in 11th place last season, but they are determined to push on up the Premier League next term.
