West Ham United produced a magnificent display and result against Tottenham Hotspur last night.

West Ham showed guts, character and an incredible will to win last night, especially during the second half, and the Croatian will have been delighted with what he saw, in the wake of his side’s horrendous showing against Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday.

The east London outfit will surely take a huge confidence boost from last night’s game, as they head into Saturday’s crucial Premier League game against bottom placed Crystal Palace, where only a win will do.
And Bilic, who has been in charge of the Hammers for nearly two-and-a-half years now, shared the message he gave to his players before they entered the field against Spurs last night, as quoted by Football.London:
“I told the guys before the game that already we showed in the training, not just the first XI, but the whole team was full energy. I said we couldn’t wait to start after that Brighton game.”

West Ham now find themselves in the quarter-final draw of the Carabao Cup, which takes place today at 4pm, but the Premier League will surely remain the priority for Bilic’s men, as they look to make their long-awaited ascent up the table.
