West Ham United will be looking to kick on during the final third of their campaign.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic spoke to the media during his pre-match press conference, and explained how he will use the incredible Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain game as an example to his players how they must never give up, no matter how bad the situation they are in seems, as quoted by the club’s official website.
West Ham have turned their season around over the past two months, and currently sit in 11th position in the Premier League table, but the squad deficiencies are plain for all to see, with the team over reliant on Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio.
That will be something that Bilic needs to address in the summer, but in the mean time he will have to work with what he has available to him.
And the Croatian highlighted the incredible heart and mentality shown by Luis Enrique’s Barca side last night, when they scored three goals in the last five minutes to advance through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, as something that he wants to see from his own players, if things are not going the way they want, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“We are always talking about that ‘it’s never over’ and yesterday was the best proof of that. We saw the quality of the Barcelona players and, on the other side, we saw top Champions League players with so many games in their career behind them crumble under such an amount of pressure in the last few minutes. It was unbelievable. It’s a great game to use in talks with your players on both sides. You can talk about Barcelona and also about Paris Saint-Germain and all that. It was an unbelievable game to watch.”
Next up for the Hammers is a tricky away trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, and they will be desperate for a victory.
And all three points would see them jump back inside the top half of the table with Southampton not playing this weekend.
