West Ham United will be looking for a strong finish to their season that has bitterly disappointed thus far.

Slaven Bilic sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and provided a positive update on vice skipper Winston Reid, highlighting how the New Zealand international has been back training with the first team.
West Ham have endured an abysmal campaign, failing to live up to high expectations after last term’s seventh placed finish in the Premier League, but Reid has been one of the few shining lights, performing to his usually high standards on a regular basis, until he succumbed to injury against Leicester City last month.
The 28-year-old brings a certain level of calm and assurance to the Hammers backline that they have desperately missed during his absence.
But Bilic suggested that Reid could be back in time for his side’s crucial clash with Everton at the London Stadium on Saturday, when speaking exclusively to WHUFC.com:

“Winston Reid is back. He’s been training with the rehab and fitness coaches for a week now and they have done good work on his fitness, so he is back and trained with us on Tuesday. We know from before that he doesn’t need many games to get his form good, so it’s big for us of course because he’s one of our major players, one of the senators, as I call them. It’s a big boost for us for the remainder of the season.”
The East London outfit can all but secure their Premier League status with a win over the Toffees at the weekend, and one would imagine that their chances of doing that will greatly increase with Winston Reid at the heart of their defence.
