West Ham United can secure their Premier League status with a victory today.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic wrote his regular match-day column for the club’s official website, and discussed the outstanding ability of Manuel Lanzini, highlighting how the Argentine makes a huge difference for his side in attacking areas.
The 24-year-old spent the 2015/16 season on loan with West Ham, before making his move a permanent one in the summer of 2016.
Despite the Hammers’ poor campaign thus far, Lanzini has been one of the few shining lights for Bilic. He always seems to be at the heart of everything good that the East London outfit do, and he has to now be considered as one of West Ham’s most important players.
Bilic raved about Lanzini, when writing his regular column for WHUFC.com, highlighting the midfielder’s hard work in training as a major contributing factor behind his impressive displays this term:

“If we can keep it secure at the back, one player who can make the difference going forward to open up their defence is Manuel Lanzini. I rate Manu extremely highly. He is a great midfield player and I told him that. We can talk about his vision, his dribbling, his carrying the ball, his one-twos, his shooting, but the key is that he training every day. That’s the core behind it – he is not injured, he has fitness and he has rhythm and because of that he has confidence.”
Bilic’s men travel to the Potteries today to take on Mark Hughes’ Stoke City side, and they will need Lanzini to be at his very best, if they are to leave the BET365 Stadium with all three points.
And if they manage to do that, they will all but guarantee their place in the Premier League for another season at least.
