The West Ham United player suffered a minor injury recently.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has been speaking ahead of his side’s Premier League clash against Watford this weekend, with his comments published on the Hammers’ official Twitter account.
Among the subjects up for discussion was the recent injury suffered by striker Andy Carroll, and Bilic was quick to allay fears the England international could be set for another spell on the side-lines.
“I was expecting Andy to train in Dubai but it is a bit slower than we expected,” Bilic said. “He will try to run today.
“Maybe he has a chance to be in the squad for the Watford game on Saturday. This is not a big injury. He has been training hard in the gym and he is looking after himself.”
Carroll has been in great form since returning to West Ham’s starting line-up, scoring four goals in the four games directly before the recent 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion, which he was not available for.
Bilic will be desperate to have him back as soon as possible. However he will understand the importance of time in Carroll’s healing process, especially given his previous injury issues.
West Ham will not rush the 28-year-old back against Watford if he is not ready, knowing there is plenty more football to be played between now and May.
