The Hammers were heavily beaten by Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Slaven Bilic has told the club’s official website that he is confident West Ham United can bounce back against West Bromwich Albion.
The Hammers are in a poor run of form at present, having failed to win in their last three games.
Last weekend was their most disappointing result so far this season, with them losing 4-1 to capital rivals Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
They are looking to bounce back against West Brom this weekend, and Bilic has backed them to do just that.
“I am very confident, I am very optimistic generally,” he told whufc.com
“I believe in our players, I know what we are capable of doing. We haven’t dropped in form because it is only a few games, but we have dropped points.”
“I am also confident because in our last two home games, against Everton and Chelsea we played really good so we shouldn’t allow our confidence to go down.”
A big blow for West Ham has been the loss of star man Dimitri Payet to injury.
The Frenchman has been key to their fine start to this season, with his performances having very much propelled them up the table.
With him out, though, they have not looked like the free-flowing side that excelled over the opening weeks, with Manuel Lanzini at present struggling to replicate his creative talents.
Perhaps, then, a change in style would be a wise choice from Bilic, as that will help him to get the best out of what he has available.
