Former Rangers defender Bilel Mohsni played for the Ibrox club from 2013 until 2015.

Mohsni was involved in a fight with Erwin – then at Motherwell – after Rangers had lost the 2014-15 Scottish Premiership playoff tie at Fir Park.
The 30-year-old defender parted company with the Gers at the end of the 2014-15 campaign, and after spells at Angers, Paris FC and Etoile du Sahel, he is now back in Scotland, recently signing a deal with Dundee United in the Scottish Championship.
Mohsni, who made 44 appearances for Rangers during his spell at the Gers from 2013 until 2015 according to BBC Sport, has revealed that he had teams in the Premier League in England interested in him before the incident at Fir Park.

“At the end, Motherwell won so they should have celebrated with their fans but instead he (Erwin) came at me, swore at me and told me to shake hands with him,” Mohsni told The Daily Mail. “I wanted to go to speak to the manager and the chairman to see if I was getting another contract.
“But he (Erwin) pushed me and hit me, so I reacted. I didn’t think properly, I know that. And all the way from Glasgow to Paris in my car I knew I had made a big mistake.
“I thought to myself: ‘Maybe football is over for me’. I had teams in the English Premier League wanting me but after what happened that was finished.”

Moving on
Mohsni was not exactly a success at Rangers, but now that the Tunisia international defender is back in Scotland, he should make the most of the chances he will get at Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.
