Liverpool fans believed that Lloyd Kelly made a huge mistake by snubbing them last year.
The Times have reported that Kelly was all set for a medical at Liverpool, but he then changed his mind about the move to Anfield and ultimately signed for Bournemouth.
Liverpool, of course, went on to win the Premier League last year, while Bournemouth were relegated.
And Reds supporters think Kelly will have huge regrets over opting not to move to Merseyside now.
Kelly’s decision to pull out of a move to Liverpool actually backfired on him this season, as the Times report that Jurgen Klopp’s side opted against making a move for him again, due to his past snub.
Liverpool, instead, landed Kostas Tsimikas as they entered the market for a new left-back.
Kelly may argue that he wouldn’t have featured much at Liverpool if took the move there though, whereas he has forced his way into Bournemouth’s starting line-up.
The youngster missed a large chunk of the season through injury, but his performances towards the end of the campaign certainly caught the eye.
