Liverpool host Manchester United in the pick of the Premier League matches next weekend.
The North-West rivals are to meet at the newly-renovated Anfield on Monday night, and it promises to be an intriguing encounter and Mourinho’s first Liverpool-United derby in charge of the Old Trafford club.
The Red Devils have picked up just four points from their last four matches, while Liverpool in contrast have won four straight league games with nine goals scored in their last two home matches.
Having said that, Mourinho has made a habit of turning the big six-pointers into tight affairs and it wouldn’t come as a great surprise to see the Monday night clash end up as a low-scoring draw.

Liverpool v West Bromwich Albion (October 22)
Liverpool follow up their Monday night clash with United with another home game against West Brom.
The Baggies have been on a good run of late, and they have a decent recent record against the Reds with only one defeat in the last five meetings between the sides.
That said, Liverpool have been performing superbly this season and they have a number of players attacking capable of providing game-changing moments and scoring key goals.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are arguably playing as well as any side in England right now, and if they hit top form they should have more than enough for the West Midlands side.

Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur (EFL Cup, October 25)
The Merseysiders end a run of home matches by hosting Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup.
Liverpool have made it this far having beaten the likes of Burton Albion and Derby County, though in Spurs they will encounter a completely different proposition to the Championship duo.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will see the EFL Cup as an opportunity to pick up some silverware this season, and it wouldn’t come as a great surprise to see both sides naming a strong starting eleven.
The two teams have already met in the Premier League this season as they played out a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane, and another draw and extra time could be on the cards here.
