Brendan Rodgers has raved about West Ham quartet Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Declan Rice ahead of Leicester’s visit to the London Stadium on Monday night.

The Northern Irishman claimed that West Ham’s front four have ‘big talent’ and stated that someone like Antonio is ‘technically strong’, as he told his pre-match press conference.

Antonio could become West Ham’s all-time leading goalscorer in Premier League history if he manages to find the back of the net tonight.

And whilst Rodgers is a big fan on the ‘aggressive’ forward, as well as the rock in West Ham’s midfield, he will be hoping they all have an off night in a few hours time.

“The front four have got big talent,” said Rodgers. “Michail, who I know well, he’s strong and aggressive.

“He runs in behind. His movement is good. Technically strong and he wants to score goals.

“The other boys around them. Bowen and Fornals are good players, who want to get into the box and score goals.

“Then they have Declan Rice, who I think is a top, top player. He sits in midfield. He can pass the ball and win the ball, so they have very good players.”

Both West Ham and Leicester started with opening day wins last week and someone’s 100% record, or both, will go tonight.

Given the amount of money that is being spent around them, both Rodgers and David Moyes have done incredible jobs to help land their clubs in Europe.

This is an ample chance for the two clubs to elevate their status and add a Europa League trophy to their cabinet.

The Foxes have a stronger squad and were in Europe last season, so they will be backing themselves to go all the way.
