Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told BBC Sport that his side had a big problem in recent weeks.
Conte made the admission following Tottenham’s 5-0 hammering of Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Harry Kane scored twice for the North London club.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss has said that Tottenham’s big problem was that there had too many games in quick succession.
That, according to Conte, was the reason why Tottenham were struggling for consistency.
Spurs have had midweek games for a while now, and Conte has said that he did not have enough time to prepare his team.
Conte told BBC Sport: “It’s difficult to beat us when we have more days to prepare. The big problem is when we have games in a short period. When you don’t have more time to prepare the game…
“Now we have only one target, to finish in the best possible way. We have more time to prepare and we have to try to do our best and we’ll see at the end of the season.”
