Bookies Ladbrokes have slashed the odds on Real Madrid moving for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

This is in direct light of Real’s imminent decision to sell Alvaro Morata to Manchester United, with SkySports reporting a move is imminent.

Ladbrokes have slashed the odds on Real Madrid signing Kane to just 7/4.

United are 5/1 to sign Kane, a price which is over generous considering Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s reluctance to do business with the Red Devils.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told HITC: “Spurs fans may be bracing themselves for a nail-biting summer as talk of a Morata exit intensifies in Madrid.

“Were he to make a move, it may be a case of when, and not if, Kane replaces him in the Spanish capital.”

Kane scored 29 goals in 30 league games for Tottenham last season, winning the Golden Boot for the second season in a row.

The striker signed a new contract at Tottenham last season, giving the North London side all the power when it comes to transfer interest.

Having come through the club’s academy, Kane is unlikely to push for a move away from a club where he is regarded as a hero.

Tottenham are competing for trophies and will be among the favourites for next year’s title.

Yet it is hard to believe he would not be a little bit tempted by Real Madrid, considering the success for ex-Spurs man Gareth Bale, who has won three Champions League trophies since swapping Tottenham for the Bernabeu.
