Some Leeds fans on social media have been reacting to a report from Milliyet that Ezgjan Alioski has rejected the chance to sign a new deal at the club.
The North Macedonia international is out of contract in the summer, and it seems as though he may be set to depart the Yorkshire outfit at the end of the season.
Fans of course had plenty to say about this development, and it’s fair to say there was something of a mixed reaction.
Supporters were overwhelming in their support for Alioski regardless of what he did, but while some fans thought that his influence in the squad would be missed, others believed that it was about time he did leave.
Alioski isn’t the first name on the Leeds teamsheet, usually deputising behind Stuart Dallas and Jack Harrison whenever everyone is fit and available, so some supporters don’t think he’ll be missed too much, but others believe he provides great depth.
Alioski has certainly become a fan favourite at Elland Road during his time at Leeds for his crazy off-field antics and his passion on the pitch, and supporters came out in their droves to discuss his potential departure.
