Rangers winger Jordan Jones is on the radar of Sheffield Wednesday among other clubs, according to The Daily Record.

It has been reported that Wednesday, Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City in the Championship in England are interested in Rangers winger Jones and are monitoring the Ibrox man.

Rangers spell

Much was expected of Jones when he joined Rangers in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer after leaving Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard told The Scottish Sun in August 2019 that the Northern Ireland international has “a big game mentality”, but the 25-year-old has failed to make a make impact due to a knee injury.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Jones made seven appearances in the Scottish Premiership, and has played once each in the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup for Rangers last season, and he has yet to play for the Gers in 2020-21.

Rangers exit?

Jones is a very good winger who did well during his time at Kilmarnock, and perhaps Rangers should give him another season at least.

After all, injuries affected the Northern Ireland international in 2019-20, and this season, Rangers need a big and strong squad to stop bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic from winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th time in a row.
