Some West Ham fans on social media have been drooling over Mipo Odubeko after it was announced that he’d won the PL2 Player of the Month award.
Odubeko has been a real star for West Ham’s U23s this season, netting 10 goals in nine appearances in the PL2, so it’s clear to see why he’s been given this award.
West Ham fans may not have seen much of Odubeko in the first-team, but they’re already completely sold on the youngster’s talent, and we can understand why.
The teenager looks to be the real deal, and while we don’t like to put pressure on young shoulders, it’s hard to not get excited by a young player with so much ability.
Understandably, fans were calling for him to get a chance in the first-team, while others were praising him for his award win.
One thing is for sure, Hammers supporters are very excited about this young man, and we have a feeling that this isn’t the last we’ve heard of Odubeko.
