Wolves will surely wish they had signed the player in the summer.

In the summer it looked as though Wolverhampton Wanderers were all set to sign Anderson Talisca from Benfica.
Wolves had been taken over by the Fosun group and were showing a willingness to spend big to push for promotion to the Premier League.
A Bola reported in the summer that the deal was nearly done, claiming Talisca would be signing in a Championship record £20 million deal – pending a work permit.
A deal for the Brazilian international, once dubbed the ‘next Rivaldo’ would have been a sensational coup for Wolves but it never came about.
Turkish source Sporx claimed that Wolves and ‘super’ agent Jorge Mendes, who was involved in the takeover at Molineux, failed to successfully win the player a permit to play in the United Kingdom, despite an appeal.

So, he headed to Turkey and Besiktas where he has flourished. He has scored seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Turkish side and his form has seen him linked with both Lazio and Liverpool – as reported by talkSPORT.
Meanwhile, Wolves are just one point outside the relegation zone in the Championship and lacking a regular goal-scorer.
If only they had Talisca saving the day.
