Speaking on a video posted to Tottenham’s Twitter page, Fabio Paratici has been discussing some of Tottenham’s new signings and Fraser Forster.
With all due respect to the former Southampton goalkeeper, the stopper wasn’t one of Spurs’ biggest signings of the summer. After all, he’s only a second-choice goalkeeper signed on a free.
However, despite not having a key role in north London, Paratici has been full of praise for Forster due to his influence behind the scenes, claiming that the England international helps everyone a lot and is very enthusiastic.

What’s been said?
Paratici spoke about Forster.
“Fraser is someone that has played a lot of matches, a lot of Premier League, Champions League and national team matches. He has big enthusiasm and he helps everyone a lot. He will be very helpful for us within the group and he has shown in the past that he is a great goalkeeper,” Paratici said.
Couldn’t ask for much more
Forster was never going to be a huge player for Tottenham, but it sounds as though he’s doing about as much as you can ask for from a second-choice goalie behind the scenes.
He’s helping his teammates, bringing a positive energy to the training ground and also providing some quality competition for Hugo Lloris.
As Paratici says, Forster has a fantastic CV, he’s played regular Premier League football for almost a decade, he’s an England international and he has also played at Champions League level.
In terms of second-choice goalies, Spurs probably couldn’t do much better than Forster, and while he’s not the signing of the summer, he’s certainly a handy addition to this squad as they look to compete on all four fronts this season.
