Marcelo Bielsa has suggested to Leeds Live that Jack Harrison is now Leeds United’s fourth choice striker.

Harrison played a chunk of the match up-front for Leeds against Crawley Town at the weekend, as they were dumped out of the FA Cup.

Bielsa threw Harrison on at half-time, as his side looked to break the deadlock.

However, Leeds ultimately ended up looking worse after the break, with Harrison struggling to get involved in the contest in an unfamiliar position.

The wide-man just couldn’t cause the Crawley defence many issues from a central area.

But Bielsa has suggested that he feels Harrison is now Leeds’ fourth best striking option, when Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo and Tyler Roberts all aren’t available.

“If Rodrigo’s not on the field, Harrison becomes the third option in attack if Tyler’s not available,” he said.

“I know what position Harrison plays in, but I have to be cautious with the needs of the team.”

Harrison is far more likely to be seen back on the wing in Leeds’ next game, which comes against Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow.

Leeds are currently in 12th place in the Premier League table, and head into Saturday’s game as favourites to pick up the three points against relegation threatened Brighton.
