Leeds United should set their sights high this summer.

Leeds United have stunned the football world by appointing Marcelo Bielsa.
All that’s missing now are some big name signings, possibly from his former clubs.
One big name he should look at is Athletic Bilbao winger Markel Susaeta who needs to re-ignite his career with a fresh challenge.

Susaeta has been at Bilbao since 2007. The only two seasons he scored goals in double figures came under Marcelo Bielsea between 2011 and 2013.
During these campaigns he scored 13 times in his first year and 11 in his second.
That’s 24 in two seasons – in the five years since he has scored 18 combined.

Now 30, Susaeta is in need of a change of scene, scoring just three goals last season.
Now he would be within Leeds price range, and could be a huge upgrade on the likes of Hadi Sacko and Pawel Cibicki.
It is so important for Bielsa to have one or two players familiar with his system and way of thinking, to help the majority who are not.
Able to play on both the left wing and the right, he could be a crucial player for the Whites if Bielsa is backed with the funds to bring him in.
It is hard to imagine that despite his commitment to Bilbao, that he would not be tempted to join the Argentine.
