Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that Crysencio Summerville was fit to play against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Bielsa has added that he simply chose not to include the 20-year-old Leeds winger in the team against Tottenham.
Leeds lost the Premier League game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 2-1.
Bielsa told The Yorkshire Evening Post when asked if Summerville has an injury: “I decided for [Liam] McCarron and [Stuart] McKinstry.”
Should Leeds winger Summerville be worried?
Now, Summerville is only 20 years of age and is just starting his career.
The Netherlands Under-21 international will surely want to play and be part of the Leeds first team.
The winger has made four substitute appearances in the Premier League and has played twice in the Carabao Cup.

Summerville is rated highly at Leeds.
It will have come as a disappointment for Summerville that Bielsa did not include him in the team against Spurs.
However, the Dutchman should use that as a motivation and work doubly hard to get a chance again.
It is only the end of November.
There is a lot of football to be played this season.
In our view, Summerville will get chances to play again for Leeds soon.
And when the 20-year-old winger gets his chances again, he must make the most of them.
