Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has admitted to Leeds Live that he may have made a mistake by taking Pablo Hernandez off in their game against Leicester City.
Just after Hernandez had hit the bar, Leeds withdrew the Spaniard in favour of Tyler Roberts.
Bielsa says that he felt Roberts was going to offer Leeds more in the final third, but the substitution didn’t have the desired impact.
Leeds were only losing 2-1 and were pushing for an equaliser when Hernandez came off, but they ultimately lost 4-1 after the change.
And Bielsa said: “Perhaps I am the one in the wrong and you are correct.
“I thought that putting on Roberts would be more influential in the final part of the field.
“I thought that he was going to give us a different option to the one that Pablo was undertaking.

“But I never discard the fact that my decisions are wrong.”
Hernandez’s dissatisfaction at the change was clear, as he belted a water bottle as he walked from the pitch.
But Bielsa was not at all angry with his playmaker for being frustrated.
“I don’t think I will need to talk to him,” he added. “The reaction he had after my decision to kick a bottle, what can I do?”
In fairness to Bielsa, Hernandez is only just coming back from injury, so his change may also have been a precautionary one.
Hernandez is now likely to be back in Leeds’ starting line-up at the weekend, when they take on Crystal Palace.
